24 HOUR RACE

06 MYTH OF THE NORDSCHLEIFE

Invisible curves, blind crests, steep inclines and frequently changing road surfaces make the “Nordschleife” at the Nürburgring a demanding test for any motorsport driver. The challenge is heightened by erratic weather conditions with heavy rain, fog or snow – even in summer. The legendary Formula One racing driver, Jackie Stewart, was so impressed by the track that he christened it “Green Hell”.
The longest and most difficult track in the world, the “Nordschleife” has witnessed countless dramas, defeats and heroic victories.
